About the Principal

Financial Planning and asset managementDr. Dion Gouws is the Principal of this firm. Dion is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of California. He has 18 years of experience covering the fields of income tax, accounting, forensic accounting, business auditing, not-for-profit auditing, strategic planning, general management consulting, change management as well as active involvement in the academia. 

He has served in a number of prestigious executive positions internationally, heading various committees as well as organizations.  His consulting experience range from advising national governments on policy, asset restructuring, aviation security to facilitating turnarounds of companies and advising companies and non governmental structures on strategy formulation and implementation.

He holds various degrees; an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School; a Masters in Accounting and Finance from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Doctoral degree in business management from the University of Johannesburg in South Africa.   Dion lectured graduate students for a number of years and was an academic advisor and study promoter to Doctoral Students.

Dion is also the principal of a public accounting firm situated in La Jolla.
